The crystal of the week is Malachite! Malachite is unique in that about 60 per cent of it is made up of Copper. Large deposits are rare, and can be commonly found in Russia, Africa and Australia. The name Malachite derives from the Greek word “maloche” which is a plant with leaves similar in color. Malachite is commonly associated with growth and abundance. It is also known for aiding recovery and exhaustion while correcting emotional imbalance. Malachite is also known for helping to absorb environmental pollutants. Malachite is the perfect stone to help those who are transitional stages in their life and has great healing powers.
